Clean room, fair price, good shower, friendly employees. Breakfast wasn't much but beats spending money at Casey's.
Stayed at this location three nights when I had meetings in the nearby town of Menno. It's a little dated, but very clean, and the staff was very attentive, friendly, and helpful. The breakfast was sparse, with toast, bagels, cold cereal, and oatmeal. 5-star rating is based on the quality given the remote location and small town. It isn't a fancy resort hotel with a lot of amenities, but it's a great little place, in a great little town! Would stay here again (and most likely will).
Very clean, great location, gracious host. Made decaf for the wife per my request (wife can't drink regular coffee, medical), which they didn't have to. Jacuzzi tub in the room saved me a trip to Jamaica, . Great room for the price. Only suggestion would be fruit or yogurt added to the breakfast. Will be back. Highly recommend.
This was an excellent hotel with friendly service from every employee that I encountered. The rooms were spotless and you can tell that the property has been maintained well. Will definitely book a room here the next time I am in the area.
The staff was friendly and there is a nice Mexican restaurant next door. Wife and I stayed here for a bit cause there was a club event in town. We got the suite and I have never seen such a clean spotless room in a hotel let alone a motel. The room was completely spotless and we were very impressed. Down side to the suite was when we used the jetted tub it was difficult to get out but that's a minor thing. Comfy beds and a clean room we will certainly be back again
Clean rooms. USB to charge phones in the wall by alarm clock. Fridge, microwave, TV. No coffee pot in room. Coffee pot is downstairs in kitchen. A little far off the i90, no solid restaurants in area. Only trucker food. Gas station foods. The hotel is very good. Price is very good. I did see a single room on bottom floor with a handicapped room. The pillows are very fluffy but fall thru and flatten out. Not my favorite pillow.
We've always enjoyed our experience here at Freeman Country Inn. The rooms are clean and cozy - great place to lay your head for a night or two. The staff has also always been above and beyond friendly and helpful to us too: we usually end up chatting with the staff about the reason for our travels - and we usually end up needing to check out prior to the start of breakfast being served, so the staff has gone out of their way to put on a pot of coffee for us as well as put out a grab and go pastry for us to have on our travels. Above and beyond service to say the least! Plus the hotel is right off the highway, so it's convenient and easy for us to continue our travels. If you're looking for a place to sleep that's clean, cozy, affordable, and has great customer service - we highly recommend this place! We will definitely be back!
Best place to stay in Freeman, and with the money you save over other hotels, spring for the jacuzzi room! Photos are views from the hotel at sunset. Basic breakfast. I long for fresh fruit and other offerings, but they have to accommodate the extreme ebb and flow of high and low vacancy. But it was great to be able to make myself some instant hot cocoa in the evening.
